Instructor
Ονομάζομαι Ελένη Τζάικου και είμαι καθηγήτρια Αγγλικής και Ισπανικής Γλώσσας, καθώς και διευθύντρια σπουδών του Κέντρου Ξένων Γλωσσών Τζάικου. Είμαι απόφοιτη του Τμήματος Αγγλικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης στη Θεωρητική και Εφαρμοσμένη Γλωσσολογία από το ίδιο πανεπιστήμιο.
Το θέμα της μεταπτυχιακής μου διπλωματικής εργασίας ήταν η εκμάθηση της Ισπανικής ως τρίτης γλώσσας και ο τρόπος με τον οποίο επηρεάζεται από τη γνώση άλλων γλωσσών. Τα ερευνητικά μου ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν επίσης τη συγκριτική γλωσσολογία, την προέλευση της ανθρώπινης γλώσσας και τον γλωσσικό δανεισμό.
Από τα φοιτητικά μου χρόνια, η Θεωρητική και η Εφαρμοσμένη Γλωσσολογία με γοήτευαν περισσότερο από τη Λογοτεχνία, καθώς με ενδιέφερε ιδιαίτερα η κατανόηση του τρόπου με τον οποίο λειτουργεί, εξελίσσεται και αποκτάται η γλώσσα.
